Evidenced-Based Therapy for Anxiety Disorders, OCD, and Depression
Hi there and welcome! If you’re here, something likely hasn’t been sitting right with you. Maybe worry feels overwhelming, intrusive thoughts won’t let up, or you’re repeating behaviors just to feel okay. You might be feeling persistently down, less interested in things you once loved, or unsure how to make sense of what you’re going through. You’ve probably tried to handle it on your own, but keep finding yourself stuck when it comes to making actual change - you’re not alone in that, and support can help.
At Bello Cognitive Therapy, I help teens and young adults (ages 13–40) who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, and other challenges, better understand what’s going on and learn proven strategies you can actually use in your everyday life.
Using approaches like CBT, ERP, DBT, and ACT, we’ll work together to tackle the thoughts, behaviors, and feelings that may be holding you back—and help you build a life that feels more meaningful and manageable. Whatever brings you here, you’ve already taken the first step, let me help you take the next one.
Do these sound familiar?
The overthinker:
“What if I say the wrong thing and they never want to talk to me again?”
“I need to plan for every possible outcome, just in case something goes wrong.”
“Did I reply too fast? Did I reply too slow? Do they think I’m needy?”
The people pleaser:
“I don’t want to upset anyone, so I’ll just go along with whatever they want.”
“I shouldn’t speak up; it might make things awkward.”
“I’ll hide how I really feel so everyone stays happy.”
The avoider:
“Maybe if I just ignore it, it’ll go away on its own.”
“Let’s just keep things the way they are; change is too much right now.”
“I know I should do it, but what if it’s too hard or messy.”
The ritualist:
“I have to do it this exact way, or it won’t feel right.”
“I know it seems silly, but I can’t stop until it’s perfect.”
“I’ll just do it one more time… to be safe.”
If this is you, you’re in the right place. I help people understand and identify the root of these patterns. And then we change them by focusing on strategies that help you face your fears and situations you have been avoiding. The goal is to give you tools you can use in everyday life, not just in therapy, so that anxiety and OCD don’t dictate your choices.
“The best investment you can make is in yourself”
